Virtual Reality Actors Voice Facial Capture for Short Fri amp Sun (United States)

I'm looking for voice or theater actors who are interested in acting in a unique virtual reality experience about the loss of relationship, the loss of parents and the loss of children. We'll be doing facial capture of the performances this weekend.

We're having a read-through on Friday evening on May 1st, and then capturing performances on Sunday, May 3rd from 10am to 4pm.

We're creating a virtual grief ritual that will be playable on the Samsung & Oculus Gear VR. We'll be using Faceshift motion capture software to capture your facial expressions, and so actors who can be expressive would be great.

Here's a video to give you a bit of an idea of what the final project will look like with a bit more context:

We need 4 more actors.
* Lead part: A male widow who recently lost his wife, and ghost shaman
* A father character aged 44 to 60+ who is a ghost and knows it
* A woman who wants to be a mother but lost a baby, a ghost who doesn't know it
* And another male character of any age, also a ghost who knows it

It's a unique opportunity to explore how cutting-edge, immersive technologies can help bring about healing and change.

I'm the co-founder of the Portland Virtual Reality meet-up, and I have a national following within the VR community with the Voices of VR podcast, and look forward to meeting more of the acting community here in.
