I'm looking for someone to take over my lease on a bedroom in a great 12th story newly-renovated apartment.
- Your Room -
Your room will have floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of the DC skyline including the Georgetown Cathedral, the Washington Monument, the US Capitol, the Pentagon, Arlington Cemetery, and National Airport. It is a sunroom, so it has glass sliding doors, but it has frosting film applied to the glass for privacy. If that isn't enough, I can provide some heavy-duty blackout curtains for free. The room is 9'5"x11' and I comfortably fit a queen bed, a sizeable desk, and a couple of bookshelves with plenty of remaining floorspace.
- The Apartment -
Everything is brand new and top of the line: stainless steel kitchen appliances, brushed nickel fixtures, trendy wood floors, Nest smart thermostat, modern washer and dryer. The bathroom and huge walk-in closet are shared with your roommate.
- The Building -
Meridian at Courthouse Commons is in a safe area, a few minutes to the Courthouse Metro station by foot, and it's near a ton of great restaurants and bars. It is cat friendly and offers garage parking for $100/mo.
- Your Roommate -
Your roommate will be a young male professional who is very stable/reliable, clean, quiet, and frequently working late or away on business trips (so you get the place to yourself!). He typically works Pacific Time hours, so morning shower schedules and such don't conflict. When home, he generally stays in his room.
- Lease Terms -
The rent of $1044 is guaranteed through April 2016. I'll cover the lease transfer fee.
