I have a room available for rent beginning May 4 in my three-bedroom house in southwest Pontiac.
The cost to move in is $700 -- $350 for the first month's rent, plus a $350 refundable security deposit.
With your rent, you have full access to the house and all utilities -- cable/WiFi, heat, electricity, water -- are included.
I am a 32-year-old male who works a full-time day job in downtown Detroit and moonlights at a restaurant in Bloomfield Township about five evenings a week -- which is to say that I am rarely at the house.
Also living in the house is a 25-year-old male who owns his own business and is home far more frequently than I am.
I have lived in the house for over three and a half years, and he has been living there with me for over a year.
We are two pretty easy-going guys who are quiet, respectful, pretty clean (he is, at least), and not ones to throw parties.
Here is what I'm looking for in a housemate:
* At least 25 years old, male or female, and no one over 40. This is flexible depending on you and your personality.
* You MUST have steady, reliable, demonstrable employment. In other words, I will ask to see your most two recent pay check stubs.
* No criminal record.
* Someone who is also quiet, respectful, pretty clean, and not one to throw parties.
