HI thanks for reading this! You were a bit fortunate to have found this ad as you will soon find out. My wife is a very special individual and one of a kind. She runs a very unique in home daycare that we have had since 2005! We rarely have any openings but it just so happens we have 1 spot open immediately due to someone moving and we haven't filled it yet!!
My wife is very nurturing and spends time with the children getting on their level teaching them based on their individual learning style! She is patient, kind, and has been teaching since 1998. She has been to college for teaching and sign language and she considers this a career not a side job.
She pours every bit of who she is into her little ones making a positive difference in their lives. Our parents keep in touch with us long after they leave because we are like family. Two of our parents actually have us listed as both God Parents and sole guardians should anything happen to them if that tells you a little bit about our home and who we are. She uses an expensive curriculum, potty trains, washes cloths and provides quality meals and snacks!
We have 2 children of our own in middle school, high school, so have 15 years of personal experience with our own children as well. She is a professional and very gifted singer and works directly with the children on speech and pronunciation as well. Even infants learn sign language here which helps them with communicating better at an early age.
I know Im giving you a ton of information up front but when it comes to your precious little ones you must know as much up front as possible. Nothing is more important in life than your child and whoever keeps your child for 8 to 10 hours per day is nothing short of an extension of your family. We have excellent references including special needs teachers from James River High School and news reporters who have had children here from birth to 4 years old who we still visit even now!
Almost all of our kids who are with us currently have been with us their entire lives from birth. Please feel free to correspond by email or set up a time to interview.
We are FULL TIME ONLY, and our hours are 6:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. Mon - Friday and located near Johnston Willis Hospital. We don't allow anyone over during the daycare hours as to protect the children but we would be glad to set up interview times in the evening. Thanks!!!
