I currently have a kitten who is around 1 year old. His name is Nico and I rescued him last fall. When I first got him, he was under fed, very frail and really needed good care. Over the past year, I have gotten him up to date on all shots and have had him fixed. He is the most lovable animal I know. It kills me to have to give him a new home but in order for him to have the best life possible, he needs to be in a home where he is the only pet and can be cared for properly. I currently have another cat which makes it impossible to provide him a structured diet. I am sure his past before me made him afraid he won't get fed because he will devour everything and anything. With how thin he was when I got him, I wouldn't be surprised if he had been starved or abused. I have put a lot into him and only ask $100 adoption fee since he has all vaccinations, is fixed and has his rabies vaccine as well. I have spent well over that, but the small fee would help and also show me you are serious in providing him a good home. I will want to meet with you ahead of time to screen who adopts him. He is like a kid to me, and since I can not provide him what he needs, I am going to make sure he does go to a home that can provide it.
