10 No kala No come.

Flag posts that you feel will encourage losers to move to Hawaii.

I tried being PC about this in previous versions and edit the post to fulfill the requirements of the CL terms of use, but some of you sorry asses were still flagging it. So I might as well just write what I want. Because fuck it. Apparently, Craigslist has zero integrity and will delete anything as long as enough whiners click their mouse.

What's the problem? Am I hitting too close to home for some of you? Am I describing you in such detail that you feel like an absolute failure in life? Good. Tough shit. The whole point of this posting is to share information with people who are ignorant of the fact that Hawaii is overcrowded, expensive, has a homeless problem and is full of transplanted non-locals with no money that are turning the state I was born and raised into an armpit and a garbage dump. Add to the fact that we have a lot of local low income families that have nowhere to go because of the lack of affordable housing, so they have to live on the street. It's not like they can hop on a Greyhound, a train or pack their car and drive to another state to find a job and housing. They're stuck. Property developers are also adding to the problem and real estate needs to be regulated here, but that's a whole different issue.

If I can even get one person to understand the situation here and why this state is getting more and more fucked up every year, I've accomplished my goal. Am I saying "don't move here?" Absolutely not. I am not racist. We do not live in a Communist/Socialist country where travel can be restricted. But, if you're going to fucking move here, have some damn money. Shit isn't cheap.

And don't give me this "no Aloha Spirit" bullshit. People have turned that saying into something that should be put on a doormat. Because it's starting to become so one-sided that it's an excuse to use and abuse the good-natured people in Hawai`i. Stop feeling as if you're entitled to everything.

Now on to the posting you all love................

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll be posting this every day because I think it's that important.

If you people can't afford to live in Hawaii, don't come here. We don't need anymore homeless, soon to be homeless, work for rent/trade or more welfare recipients from out of state. There's an affordable housing shortage and homeless problem in Hawaii which is being compounded by people moving here from the mainland and abroad that aren't prepared for the high cost of living. If you think you're going to find a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, W/D, A/C and parking stall in a safe neighborhood for $1000/month, good luck! There's outrageously affordable housing on the mainland. San Antonio, TX would be a good choice.

Housing is expensive, goods are expensive, food is expensive (Hawaii ships in 90% of its food) and good paying jobs are limited. So if you're going to move here, you need to consider all these factors. Bottom line - Hawaii is expensive. If you can't afford it, don't come.
