QR Code Link to This Post We have a hetero beige female chinchilla who's looking for her new home. This girl is what is known as a "culled breeder" - she was used as a breeder at one of the large chinchilla ranches, and when she was going to be put down since she wasn't breeding, we got her, and she is now available to find a pet home of her own!

We have down that this female was born around 2007, which makes her 10 years old! She's 10 years young though, as she definitely still has quite a bit of spunk and personality! She has no problem working her way right past you on the way out of the cage, she is ready to start her pet life and she wants to start it now! She is still a little unsure of all of these people now wanting to pet her (as opposed to being left alone, more or less, for most of her life), so she occasionally will stand up and bark at you when you open her cage and go to reach for her, but she's all bark and no bite! When you have her in your arms, she's a sweet girl. Even for her age, she's pretty go-go-go, and we have no doubt that she would enjoy playtime! She does not bite.

This girl does have a watery eye, which comes and goes with the seasons. Teeth issues have been ruled out, so it seems that she either has allergies, or a tear duct issue.

Due to her age, this girl will not come with a health guarantee. However, other than that pesky watery eye, she is healthy as a horse, and we anticipate she'll be around for quite some time!

This chinchilla is currently caged alone. However, if you interested in pairing her up with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (Tradition pellets), a goodie bag of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. She will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
