Please NO PETS (NO exceptions!!), No Smokers, Bedrooms Cannot Be Shared
Hi! My sister and I recently purchased a 4 bed/3.5 bath house that is 3600 ft2 and was built in 2014. It's located on a quiet street off Woodmont Blvd in between Green Hills and 12th South. (It's minutes from the 440 interstate and Green Hills Mall.) Currently, we are looking for 2 roommates to move in anytime after Sept. 15th. The monthly rent for EACH roommate is $1000 PLUS monthly utilities (water, gas, electric, cable, and internet). The utilities are split equally among the 4 people living in the house and average to be about $150/ month for EACH roommate. So rent AND utilities are usually about $1150/month. (Please keep in mind, $1150/month is an average! Winter months are usually more expensive since gas is more expensive were as in summer months you'll typically pay less for bills. My sister and I cover the cost of lawn care, pest control, the security system etc. **Please Note: The bedrooms CANNOT be shared by two individuals to lower the price of rent and utilities. The house is beautiful! There are hardwood floors throughout, 2 laundry rooms, 2 refrigerators, a large bonus room, a study, 2 porches, a grill, and a spacious backyard. There's a parking pad in the driveway that easily fits two cars so you'll have close access to the front door. The two available bedrooms easily accommodate a queen/king size bed, have plantation shutters on the windows, and walk-in closets with built-in shelves. Each bedroom has its own room with a sink, mirror, and cabinets for towels/toiletries and then there's a room with the shower/toilet, which is shared. The house will already be furnished except for your bedroom. We will provide dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Furnishing and decorating a home this size has been a big undertaking and is still a work in progress. (Some of the furniture in these pictures is not ours. It is how the house was staged when we bought it.)
We are looking for a kind, responsible, friendly roommate who is comfortable signing a lease for at least 9 months to a year. We ask that you pay a refundable $1000 deposit when you move in. (This safeguards us in case you are unable to pay the rent or if there are significant damages to your room. We will return this deposit when you move out if your room is free of damages.) My sister and I are looking for roommates who are willing to clean up after themselves, are will help with unloading the dishwasher, taking out the trash, and doing their part to keep the shared living areas clean. We are searching for people who will buy their own food (and refrain from eating others), are willing to contribute to communal items like paper towels, cleaning products, etc. and in general will be respectful of the house and the people in it. My sister and I are kind, outgoing, and easy to get along with! :) We enjoy going to dinner, exercising, playing games, and hanging out with friends. Also, we do have an indoor/outdoor cat that pretty much keeps to himself. But if you don't like cats or are severely allergic to them, unfortunately this isn't the place for you.!
