Come relax and unwind in a lake cottage that features a quiet and natural setting. The cottage is located on Long Lake 15 minutes outside Waupaca, one of the most premier lakes in Waushara County! The cottage is nestled in a quiet bay that boasts gorgeous pines for that full "up north feel." Enjoy nature around you, while only feet from the water. Guests have their own private dock, back yard fire pit and use of a canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board free of charge. A 12 person, 22 ft pontoon boat is also available for rental on site for a $125 per day (2 day minimum rental) or $100 a day when renting for 5 days or more. Cottage can sleep up to 7 guests. It is clean and well maintained with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen, dining area and living room. It also includes a basement with washer and dryer for guests to use at no charge. If guests own a boat they have private access to the pier for their boat to dock the entire stay or they can rent the pontoon boat. We rent our lake cottage all year round. The cottage is about 10 minutes from Nordic Mountain Ski hill, cross country ski trails and other fun winter activities. Great ice fishing right outside the door! Fall is also a gorgeous time of year to enjoy this area and the lake.
If you are thinking about next summer, we encourage you to book early. Our summer booked up completely this year and we are adding a deck on to the cottage this spring, so next summer will probably be even busier!

Come enjoy the beauty of the north woods of Wisconsin, only a 3 hour drive from Chicago, 2 hours from Milwaukee, 1 Â½ hours from Madison and 45 minutes from the Fox Valley.
Located just a few miles from Waushara County's delightful supper clubs, golf courses, small town shops and recreational trails and public hunting grounds, Nordic Mountain Ski hill and other area attractions. Only 15 minutes away from Waupaca, WI and all it has to offer.

Cottage amenities include: bathroom with full tub/shower, full kitchen with microwave, fridge, stove/oven, coffee maker and all essentials for cooking. There is a queen size bed, full size lower bunk bed with a twin bed on top and queen size sofa sleeper. Maximum sleeping and occupancy is 7 people. It also comes with a TV, DVD player, DVD movies, CD player, washer and dryer (no charge), bed linens and towels. Also includes use of charcoal grill, fire pit, canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board.

Enjoy convenient access from the dock to the deeper waters of the lake that are right around the corner. The shallow, clear water off of the dock allows guests to view fish and wildlife or to lounge on floatation devices.

Long Lake is a 272 acre lake located in Waushara County. It is one of the best lakes in the county for water sports. It has a maximum depth of 71 feet. Visitors have boat access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include pan fish, Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is crystal clear. It is outstanding for boating, fishing, water skiing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming. In winter you can enjoy ice fishing on the lake too!

Now accepting bookings for summer 2018. Book your stay before the summer availability is gone! Cottage cost is: $160 per night plus tax during summer and $120 a night during the off season (fall, winter and spring). $1000 per week in the summer. A 2 night minimum stay is required in off season and a 5 night minimum stay is required in the summer. A $200 refundable security deposit is required along with a $50 cleaning fee. Sorry, there is no smoking allowed in the cabin per WI state law and there is no hunting or use of firearms allowed on the property.
