Welcome Home!! This is by any standard an incredible loft. It is recognized as one of the three most beautiful lofts at the Brewery. If you don't know the Brewery, it is the largest Art Colony in America located just outside of downtown Los Angeles. It is unique in that is is completely isolated, surrounded on all sides. The Railway yard, the 5 fwy, UPS hub and two of our own buildings. This is the former grounds of the Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery. Twelve acres, twenty-four buildings and over three hundred lofts. Some of the buildings on the property date back to 1885. We have a park and restaurant and it is safe day and night.
The loft is extraordinary. The main room is 2000sq ft, the floors are a deep red, done in an acid stain technique they are rich. Sixteen foot brick walls with four giant windows eight foot tall by five foot wide flood the room with light. In addition six by nine foot skylight and a twelve foot by twelve foot roll-up door. The ceilings are 22 feet tall rolling exposed wood, just beautiful. The Door rolls up and out onto a huge and completely secluded garden!! With a private deck around the side of the loft. The sense of openness and light has to be seen. It is really unusual in loft living to have such access to the outdoors. In the garden is a big old woodpile for the fireplace which is in the center of the loft. It is cast iron, and the doors can be opened fully wide to watch the flames.
The Kitchen centerpiece is a four foot by seven foot wood cutting block. It's a great gathering place. The kitchen is stainless steel industrial is the way I would describe it. A great feature is the Wolf Professional gas oven range. This is a fun kitchen to cook in, great for entertaining. There is a washer-dryer!! Yes I'll say it again. A washer-dryer! There are not that many lofts here that have them.
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR OWN BEDROOM AND BATH. You have to see to appreciate.
