About the house:
3 stories, 3 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths. The house was recently renovated so it is beautiful and completely furnished (including cookware, washer/dryer, etc). There is also an unfinished basement which can be used for storage.
About the room:
Available room is on the 2nd floor of a 3 story house and you have access (and choice of) one of two bathrooms on that floor. Master bedroom has its own bathroom on 3rd floor. The third bedroom will most likely stay empty as I use it for a workout room/guest bedroom. I own the house and the available room is currently furnished but everything can be removed if you have your own furniture you'd like to use.
Lease:
My current roommate is wonderful but she has to leave for 3 months for work starting the end of December. I'm open to both a 3 month lease (Jan 1-March 31 so that she can move back in) or a 1 year lease starting Jan 1. Rent is $850/month plus utilities which usually is around $100. Just asking for a $500 deposit.
About the location:
It really is in a great location! The house is 10 min walk from Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHU), 10 min walk to downtown Fells Point, and 5-10 min walk to Patterson Park which is wonderful to walk around on a pretty day. I typically park my car on Friday and don't need to move it all weekend. There is no designated parking but luckily its pretty easy to find parking where we are.
Prospective roommate:
Looking for a respectful young professional or student to share my house with, ideally between 25-35 y.o. Singles only please (no couples or kids). I'm pretty clean and would love someone who can also keep the common areas clean.
About the current roommates:
You'd be sharing the house with late 20's female working professional and a super cute and friendly 3 year old goldendoodle named Tucker. :-) Unfortunately, for now just looking to keep the house a 1 pet household. I work pretty long hours so keep it low-key during the week but do like to be social on the weekends. Also a big fan of wine.
