2 loving pitbulls looking for their forever home.
Hi craigslist, we are back again. Please take the time to read the entire ad as I am very specific on the requirements we want in order to give you our dogs.
We found a very nice family for our girls. Unfortunately, they contacted me and said that even though they fell head over heels for our dogs their son didn't so we have decided to take them back and start the interview process all over again. With that being said please DO NOT contact me if:
1) You don't think you can handle my dogs. They have A LOT of energy!!!
2) You are interested in only one dog. THEY MUST STAY TOGETHER!!!
3) You can't afford my dogs.
4) You are not a home owner.
5) You are trying to use Roxy for breeding purposes as she is not spayed. You must agree to get her spayed within a reasonable amount of time.
My husband and I recently found out our daughter is severely allergic to dog hair. We have another one on the way and we are afraid he will be too. We have to put our kid's health first and that is the only reason we are rehoming our dogs. They do not have aggression issues and they are very good with kids and other animals. We will not give them away to just anyone so I will be asking a lot of questions. They are great, loving, fun, loyal family dogs and they deserve a family that will love them and care for them as their own children. We are in no hurry to give them away so we will take our time to find them the family they need.
Coco is a 3 year old 80lbs pitbull mix. We've had Coco a little over a year. She is very energetic, sweet, loving, well behaved, loves other dogs big and small. She likes to be the center of attention and likes her belly rubbed. She is very gentle with children and doesn't have any aggression issues. She has never been aggressive towards other dogs. She loves to go on long walks and knows how to sit, stay, lay down, hug, and kiss lol (we are still working on "shake") she is great off leash and responds on command. Coco loves to be chased, play tug a war, but her absolute favorite thing to do is fetch balls. She's so much fun!! Overall she's a great family dog.
Roxy is a 1 year old 50lbs bull terrier/pitbull mix. We've had her for only 6 months but she is a total sweetheart! She's more mellow and easy going. Not as crazy as Coco. A perfect day for her would be spending the day cuddling with you. But she also loves going out on walks and play at dog parks. She loves attention and when you are busy she will do the silliest things to grab your attention lol she know how to sit, lay, shake, and responds on command. She absolutely LOVES children! She has never shown any aggression issues and gets along well with other dogs.
I can go on and on about them. Both of my girls are perfect family dogs and they MUST GO TOGETHER!! They are both kennel trained and potty trained. Because of the breed restrictions on rented homes and apartments we do ask that you are a home owner. The perfect family for them must love and understand the pitbull breed. We would love to give them to a single couple with no kids preferably but will consider families with children if you are the right fit. Having a dog is very demanding that's why we prefer single couples so they can give my girls the attention they deserve. I rescued both of them from abusive owners and they deserve all the love they can get. Coco is currently spayed but is due for her annual vaccines. Roxy is current on all her vaccines but needs to be spayed. Both are in perfect health. We are asking for a rehoming fee but are willing to discuss a reasonable fee with you. We don't care about the money we just want our dogs to go to a good home. We will give you everything we have including both kennels, leashes, food and water trays, toys, etc. Please do not respond if you live in apartments. We are located in Beaverton but we are willing to drive within a reasonable distance to meet you and see if your home is a good fit for them. If you are not kool with my husband and I visiting your home please don't contact me. It is very important to see where our girls are going. And last but not least, please please please PLEASE don't waste my time. If you are interested in my dogs and we arrange a time to meet please show up. I am 38 weeks pregnant and I can barely walk lol I seriously don't have time to waste so if I'm making an effort to meet with you please don't be a flake. I am not trying to sound rude I promise but we've had so many calls and emails and people either don't get back to us or they don't show up at all.
