Hey. I'm a 26-year-old male looking for a new roommate. My current roommate is leaving town, so I need to find someone new. I have the option of taking over my lease here in the LGD, but I'd love to get a change of scenery. However, I'm not taking my current place off the table as an option for us to live. It's a decent price ($1200/month with utilities at $100 or less per person) and each room has a private full bathroom. So that's a nice perk. However, I don't mind sharing a bathroom. We can always discuss this. Also, if we do move into a new place, I'd consider taking on two roommates instead of just one. Many times 3br places end up being nicer for a better deal. Plus utilities split 3 ways is nice. I've done it in the past and it was a great way to save money.

About me... I'm a pretty chill guy. I play volleyball pretty regularly and I like to do bar trivia when I can. Other than that, I enjoy just hanging out with friends, wasting time together. I like going out for dinner and getting drinks with them or just chilling and watching bad movies. The normal stuff. I'll be heading back to school this summer. I already have a degree from LSU, but a second degree seems to be all the rage these days. Also, I'm gay, so that can't be an issue for you. It really shouldn't be but, if you think it might be, it's okay not to reply.

In a roommate, I look for someone who is considerate, overall. I'd like to room with someone who is somewhat near my age, but I know cool people over 40. So there can be exceptions. I'm fine with a roommate of any gender, as long as they are cool. I feel like I get along with guys better, but one of my favorite roommates and best friends is a girl. So either is fine, really. I need a roommate who is respectful of the common areas and keeps them clean. My room gets messy, but I do my best never to leave a mess in the living room, kitchen, bathroom, etc. Another student would be nice as a roommate, but if you just work, that's fine too. I absolutely need a roommate who will have money for rent and bills on time. I'm responsible and would love a roommate who is too. I can't cover for you.
