1000 sq ft beautifully and newly renovated house in Westland with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, 1.5 bath and a basement with a wet bar. There's a backyard, front yard with a deck, a detached 2-car garage and a driveway (street parking also available). All major appliances are included: Washer, Dryer, Stove, Fridge, Microwave. Utilities include Gas (for Heating, AC, stove and dryer), Electricity, Water and Internet.
COST:
TWO rooms for rent (starting January 1): $475 for room and $75 for utilities per person. (total of 550/mo in rent)
Each room can accommodate no more than 2 people. If you plan to move in with another person, you will pay an additional $150 per room and an extra $25 for utilities.
TERMS:
a) Background check is required (typically $20-$40).
b) First month of rent and $500 Security Deposit must be paid on move in.
c) $500 of the Security Deposit will be refunded if no damage is incurred upon your departure.
d) Payments will be due CASH ONLY at the END OF EVERY MONTH for the following month. NO EXTENSIONS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
e) Short term arrangements only (month to month, with a minimum of 6 months and a max of 1 year with possibility to renew).
f) If you leave in the middle of the month, payment will be prorated weekly for that month (so if you leave February 10, you will be refunded 2 weeks of rent, if you leave February 7, you will be refunded 3 weeks of rent).
g) Four weeks notice required if you decide to leave or if I asked you to leave.
h) NO pets, NO smoking, NO drugs (including marijuana), NO guns/deadly dangerous weapons, NO wild parties (small social gatherings are completely OK).
IDEAL HOUSEMATE:
Female housemates preferred!! Looking for cool people to live with short term (month to month) or long term (1 year renewable). The most important thing: I need housemates who PAY their rent and utilities EARLY or ON TIME every month, someone CLEAN, who will treat my house with CARE and who will NOT engage in any illegal activities. Good communication and respect is a MUST and you must PASS the background check.
