I have a sweet, light-filled, spacious 2B apartment here in hip SE Belmont area, with gorgeous hardwood floors and a 1930s farmhouse feel [charming!], and I'm going out of town this Saturday.
Hoping to find a person (or 2 persons) to stay here, while I'm gone.
Dates: starting this Saturday, you can stay here. But I would like to meet you in person, on Friday (before 4 pm).
Cost: $50/night. Or we call it a week and just make it $300, total. You can pay me via Paypal to make it easy peasy.
No pictures yet, sorry; just know that it's a ground floor apartment, (yet with 4 steps up to enter, in terms of accessibility), and you will have to pretend that we are long-time friends so that my on-site manager doesn't think I'm just renting out the place, willy-nilly.
Could be helpful if you just need a temporary place to crash, from Saturday 12/12 through Thursday 12/17 or even a few days later. There are 2 bedrooms, a sweet little kitchen, one bathroom with full tub of course, and plenty of free parking (on street and even in the private parking lot). The bedrooms have: one real bed (queen mattress and boxspring from Ikea), and one futon mattress on a low-to-the-ground futon wooden frame.

As for Internet: I can give you the wifi password. It's not the fastest connection-- but it works just fine for normal purposes. By the way, there's no cable tv here, but there is a big tv for watching DVDs on, if you like. With remote control :)
You will sleep well in this quiet apartment. And be super close to all the hip stuff in the Belmont / Hawthorne /Tabor / Laurelhurst areas.
Any smoking is done out in the parking lot, not in the unit and not right outside the back door.
PS - there's no microwave here yet, as I still need to buy one. But the stove and oven work great!
