QR Code Link to This Post Our housemate decided to move out of state and so a medium-size bedroom becomes available for rent in our house. The house is located in a quiet and upscale neighborhood near DTC (Orchard Rd & Holly St.). It is beautifully decorated and large - 2800 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It has a large open kitchen, dining area with mountain view, granite counters, cherry cabinets, security cameras and digital locks. The living space is spread out over three levels, in addition to a basement and a large backyard. Thus, there are lots of space for everyone to enjoy his/her quiet and private time. There are central heating, air conditioning, dishwasher, oversized washer and dryer in the house. All appliances, carpet, paint, window covers and furniture are new as the house has just been remodeled top to bottom. There is an large backyard with vegetable garden, mature fruit trees, tulips, roses, gas grill, and a large patio with contemporary furniture.

The bedroom is medium-size and is fully furnished with a full-size bed, nightstand, bookcase and drawers. There is some extra storage space in the house for sport equipments etc. The room locates in the lower level (not the basement) of the house. From the bedroom, you could look out to the garden. The room has contemporary wall-to-wall carpet, new paint, a large double-panned windows and lots of natural lights. You will have access to a reserved parking space in our front driveway. The room measures 11x9 plus an enclosed closet. You will share a newly remodeled bathroom with a female housemate who lives in the same floor.

The rent is $700 which includes all utilities - water, electric, gas, internet, cable TV, trash as well as some kitchen and cleaning supplies. You will need to provide a one-month deposit and proof of income. I will also run a background and criminal check before we sign a contract.

You are fully privileged to use the kitchen, dining area, laundry and a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace in the lower level. You must clean up after yourself in the common living areas. We take turn to clean the common areas on a weekly basis. In the winter, we also take turn to shovel snow around the perimeter for the house. No smokers, pets, drugs, frequent parties or dramas either inside or in the surrounding of the house.

I'm looking for a female housemate who is either a graduate student or working professional with regular working hours. A minimum of four to six-month rent is preferred but is negotiable. The room is available on October 1 or later.

About us:

Roommate 1: I'm the owner of the house. I am Asian, female and a working professional in my mid 30s with graduate degrees. I work from home 2-3 days a week. I'm friendly, sociable and well traveled. I have lived and worked in Asia and Europe for extended period of time before I settled in Denver. I still travel a fair amount during the year both for work and personal reasons. In my spare time, I go mountain biking, rock climbing, and trail running. I live in the upper level of the house.

Roommates 2 and 3: The lower levels of the house are currently occupied by two mature working professionals who are clean, neat, fun and friendly. We keep it to ourselves, although we do share occasional meals, bake a cake to share, or chat around the house from time to.
