The elegant, Victorian house has two bedrooms on the 2nd floor and two on the 3rd, each floor with a huge bathroom. (Available room is on the 3rd floor with a closet, built in shelves, and an A/C unit in the room).
The first floor is shared with a large kitchen, living room, small bath room and & backyard patio / garden for BBQs and relaxing. There is a washer / dryer in the basement. The $650 rent covers all utilities (including Wifi & cable TV). Housemates are working adults and grad students. English is our working language, but we are an international household representing several countries.
Fabulous location within two blocks of Drexel University's campus, and only 4 blocks from University of Pennsylvania's campus. Great for grad students, medical students & residents, visiting scholars, professionals working in U. City or Center City, etc.
Number #10 Trolley is at the corner, The Market-Frankford El train is a five minute walk (4 blocks away), numerous bus lines on 34th street and Chestnut street are minutes away as well.
Great access to center city, as well as the Schuylkill river trails for recreation. Gorgeous Victorian neighborhood with lots of pedestrian activity. Extra safety provided by Drexel University campus police. Lots of food options on Lancaster Avenue within 2 blocks.
