QR Code Link to This Post We have a room for rent in a spacious three bedroom ranch home in Anchorage's Airport Heights neighborhood, available December 18 - April 31 and potentially longer upon request. We are located adjacent to Tikishla Park, close to UAA, APU, and next to beautiful multi-use bike and ski trails.

The home is moderately furnished and features a large back yard with a shed for storage, a bonfire pit, and a large back porch and grill. It is also equipped with two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and an extra loft for houseguests. The room available will be unfurnished upon the time of move in. The property also features views of Tikishla park and the surrounding mountains; driveway and on-street parking available.

Rent is $700.00 per room per month. Utilities are split three ways and usually run between $85.00 - $125.00 per month depending on the time of year. A $500.00 security deposit is required prior to move in.

Current roommates (one male and one female) include two young professionals (late twenties researcher and early thirties lawyer). Both individuals enjoy the the outdoors (skiing, cycling, rafting), cooking, and conversation. One very well-trained husky lab mix lives in the house also. Ideally, we are hoping for a roommate without pets though we are willing to discuss the prospect. Lastly, all individuals are responsible for contributing to a clean and organized common space.
