About the Room:
This room is on the 1st floor of the house. It has two closets for plenty of storage, more storage available in the basement and shed. Shared bathroom (two girls) down the hallway. Window view of the front yard, smaller side window for evening light. Off-street parking space included, all utilities (even high-speed internet) included. Room is unfurnished, hardwood floors. Please no smoking indoors (we do have a very nice porch with chairs though). Tank-pets okay.
About the House:
The house is fully furnished. Kitchen is fully equipped. Everyone who lives in the house is an artist, so we created a community art studio and we can clear office space for you if you're interested. Laundry is in the basement. The house has a front porch and a large back deck which is great for summer BBQs. We also have one super cute cat.
About the neighborhood:
The house is in walking distance to historical Bethel, which has tons of bookshops, a wonderful library, coffee and pizza shops, a grocery store and gas station. The Bethel train station is also nearby, so you can take the train into NYC or any stop along that line if you like. Bethel is located right next to Danbury, so any chain store amenities you might enjoy is a five minute drive away!
To Rent:
The room is available for $750 with a year lease or $850 month-to-month. To sign the lease you'll need 2 months security and first month's rent. To apply, you'll need proof of income (such as a recent pay stub or a note from your employer.)
