Just recently my roommate, whom I sublease from, informed me that she wants to move to another part of the island by January 15th.
Currently, I work in Kailua, live in Kailua and would very much like to continue to live in Kailua.
I'm a clean, non-smoking, drug-free middle-aged female. I don't have any pets, but I do love all animals. I eat healthily, have many hobbies and am responsible. By choice, I don't own a car. I don't like the ridiculous expense, maintenance and parking issues of owning one. Instead, I prefer to ride the bus, walk or use a bike.
Mostly, when not at work, if not out enjoying our surroundings, I sit at my computer writing or creating graphics and animations. If I cook, I clean while I cook, and then clean my dishes after. If I use the bathroom, I clean up after. I prefer to leave my room clean, as I really like to come home to a clean room.
I'm a nice person, kind, trust-worthy, friendly. I'm not prone to trauma and drama.
I have my own bed, desk, dresser-ish and bookcase.
Currently, I pay $700 a month for rent, and it's a little squeeze, but manageable. I work about 32 to 40 hours a week and make a little above Hawaii's minimum wage. I like my job, the people I work with are good people. They like me and I keep getting steady raises as each evaluation period comes about.
I'd love to hear from someone who is really interested in having me as their roommate. I would even love to hear from someone who has a studio. Ideally, I'd be able to sign a lease for a minimum of a year. The more stability, the merrier.
