The Condo is only 7 years old and has the most up-to-date amenities including washer/dryer; microwave; diswasher, LARGE Flat screen TV etc. It's in one of the coolest Emeryville /berkeley/no. Oakland locations, just just steps away to the Emery-Go-Round shuttle--a free shuttle to the Bart Station! Also, blocks from Ex'pression college, berkeley bowl west, on the Berkeley border and a quick jaunt to Bay street.

So what are the digs like? The condo is a three bedroom/two bath unit so you'd have your own room and share a bathroom with a easy-going gal. **SWEET!** if you need a full bed, one may be available.

So who would you be coming home to? The real life of the house is 7 year old Fabio, a 6 lb. Chihuahua with a sunny disposition-- he just takes a while to warm up to new people. Me? I'm gay and out so if you're a bit homophobic. . .just skip on to the next ad, we'll both be happier. :-) My roommate (who shares the bathroom) is a professional at Cal berkeley. I work for a local non-profit.

So what do we want in a housemate? Someone we're comfortable hanging out and having dinner with if we find ourselves home at the same time. . ..but also comfortable enough to hang out in our respective rooms with the door closed if we want to be alone. Someone we're happy to see when we come home and someone who respects their living space and surroundings as much as we do. Someone who is upbeat, social and who's humor matches ours (a bit offbeat and sarcastic, but not too negative). Definitely need someone who likes to laugh (Caution here, I have a loud laugh)! ooh, and someone who doesn't have to kill a bottle of booze at the end of each day., but is 420 friendly. .I mean really, who wants to live with a big booze bag? Someone who tends to let things roll off their back rather than getting their panties in a bunch. Someone who is a blunt, upfront communicator when something is on their mind, but also a compromiser when it comes to solving problems. Someone who knows "if I didn't buy that stuff in the fridge, then It's probably NOT mine." I'll stop with my "wish list. . ..

So here's the deal: Rent is $950/month plus 1/3 of electricity, basic HD tv, superfast wireless internet, maid once a month, garbage and water (currently a set $135/mo due on the 15th of each month). Security Deposit is $1,300 due upon move in. A $40 non-refundable CREDIT & EVICTION check, is due with completed rental application.

The room should be ready to move into the 2ND week of October. No prior evictions, good credit score and references are required (with credit check).
