I am offering affordable private instruction in violin and viola (beginner to advanced) as well as cello (beginner to intermediate). I also provide instruction in music theory, harmonization, composition, and performance/audition preparation.

I just recently moved to Seattle from New York City where I served as the concertmaster of the Greenwich Village Orchestra as well as founder of the Hayden Music Academy. I have also performed in numerous professional orchestras and music festivals both in the US and overseas.

I have been performing for over 30 years and have taught countless students of all ages and ability levels. I adopt an individualized approach to each student as I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" paradigm when it comes to teaching. Upon request I can provide outstanding recommendations from satisfied parents as well as adult students whom I have taught in the past.

I am in the process of building my private student roster here in Seattle and have several openings at this time. I teach both in-studio and in-home lessons. My studio is conveniently located between downtown Seattle and Capitol Hill. In-home lessons are available for an additional fee in select neighborhoods. THE FIRST LESSON IS FREE OF CHARGE.
