Tigger, about 10, is a sweet, front-declawed, short-haired, very slender "special needs" tabby in his senior years, but has a lot of love to give to an adoptive owner. He is shy at first, so his new owner would have to be very patient until Tigger "warms up" (which he definitely will). He has a permanently damaged eye, but he doesn't appear to have any problem seeing normally. He has a heart murmur, but that also hasn't prevented him from functioning normally. He has a big appetite, but remains quite thin. Blood tests showed that he has an overactive ("hyper") thyroid, but he is getting medication to stabilize it. Tigger's former owner relocated and couldn't keep him. He is neutered, vaccinated, etc. He is in a foster home in northern Summit County (not far from Cuyahoga County) with very nice, caring people, but is confined to one room because of a few dogs in the home who are not cat-friendly. Tigger is oh-so-ready to be adopted! He is fine with other cats, and he ignores dogs (but can co-exist with them if they are cat-friendly).
