QR Code Link to This Post So why am I giving her away if she's so wonderful you maybe asking..... well here's her story. Gem as I've come to call her was rescued from an abandoned home where she faithfully stayed for a very long time awaiting the return of her family, she survived on roadkill and occasionally food brought by a distant neighbor, they never came. I became aware of her situation and set about rescuing her which I've done. Gem has been given her shots she's been wormed and I've had her spayed. Gem has gone from a scared shy timid dog to a wonderfully sweet girl who shows no ill towards people for what was done to her, she loves going anywhere you go she's good with cats, chickens, horses, cows, kids and dogs. The world seems all new to her but she's happy to be in it with someone to show her things, she gets in secure with each new situation but takes it in and wants to learn. The vet and I believe Gem to be lab and possibly heeler, she weighs about 50 pounds and she's fairly young 2-3 years. I have 4 dogs of my own, I would love to keep Gem but I think 4 dogs is enough so I really hope I can find the right home for Gem my wish for Christmas is to never have her abandoned and scared again.
