My name is Abby Tilly and I'm super excited to meet you because I am super excited about everything. My foster mom says I am 40 pounds of enthusiasm, and I think she is right, right, right. I am a young, spayed retriever/pointer mix. When we play fetch in the yard, I like to find the ball after my foster mom throws it...but then I let the golden retriever who lives with me do the heavy lifting.
But that's not because I don't have the energy to do it! I do, do, do, do. I am full of happy energy. And full of big brains, too. But my family says that means I need a chance to use my body and my brain a lot every day in order to be a happy girl. Don't worry! That won't require lots of work and energy from you! I am super happy in my foster family's fenced back yard. There's lots to do there! I especially like climbing the swingset ladder and going down the slide. And if there's another dog buddy to keep me busy? Even better, better, better! Because I love dog buddies of all kinds. Yup, yup, yup. I super-dee-do. I know when it's time to settle down, though. And at night, I go in my kennel speedy, speedy quick and keep it nice and tidy while I'm in there during the day, too.
My foster mom says, if I don't find a family, maybe I can support myself by starring in doggie shampoo commercials. Because she's never seen a dog as shiny as me. And that'd be fun, I suppose. But I think a family would suit me better than Hollywood any day of the week. Plus...have you seen the tongue on me, people?? Yup, yup, yup. That is my super smoocher. I use it on all the little kids in my foster family. I use it on my foster dad and mom, too. And...if you schedule a time to meet me...you can bet, bet, bet I'll use it on YOU.
