Capone's Dinner & Show is pleased to announce it will be holding open auditions, by appointment, on March 26th. Time slots are available from 10:30 am until 5:00 pm. Seeking male and female actors, and female dancers for all roles (see listing below).
Shows are performed in the evening, 7 days a week, with occasional matinee performances. We are looking for performers who can typically guarantee 1-2 nights of availability per week. WHAT TO PREPARE: Two contrasting musical theatre songs, 16-bars each. (Singing will be done a cappella.) All actors and dancers will read sides from the show. Women -- wear character heels for the audition. Dancers, be prepared to do a short combination.

Seeking the following roles:

MISS JEWEL: Sassy and brassy; She runs the Speakeasy and regularly interacts with the audience; Strong alto/mezzo belt (sings "Big Spender")

BUNNY JUNE: A soon-to-be-star, or so she thinks, she's the cutesy-tootsie life of the party! Recently married to Fingers -- but that doesn't stop her adorable flirtations with guests; Easy mezzo-soprano musical theatre mix (sings "I'm Going Bananas"); Basic Tap Dancing required

FINGERS: A Nathan Detroit-like character, he makes his living running a craps game, and keeps Bunny June happy with his corny jokes. If only he could settle down a get a real job. . . Improv experience a plus. Tenor/Baritone

BUGS: Classy, but a tough guy, typical gangster of the '20s. He's always a gentleman -- as long as you do NOT call him "Bugs." Improv experience a plus. Baritone

HUNNY and SUNNY: Bunny June's sisters -- they are the real dancers in the show -- even though Bunny tries to be the star; Strong technique in Musical Theatre style and Tap; Dancers also sing during group numbers. Mezzo-Soprano/Alto
