Adopt Tippy Fully vetted cat rescued after heartless abandonment (Medford)
This is Tippy, a friendly, playful three-to-four-year-old male. He is available for adoption from a local rescue organization.

Tippy is mostly black with striking green eyes. He got his name from the small white spot at the tip of his tail.
Tippy was rescued from downtown Haverhill near the Merrimack River. He was found going up and down the back decks of the restaurants looking for food and shelter, trying to get inside somewhere. Someone abandoned him in the parking lot and he had no clue what to do. Who could do that any cat, let alone one as clearly loving and affectionate as this boy? A kind-hearted patron took him into her car and asked us to find him a safe home with someone who will love him for the rest of his life. Well, that's what we do.
As you can see, Tippy is demonstrative and gets along with other cats.
He has been neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and combo-tested negative for FeLV, but positive for FIV. This should have little or no effect on his lifespan, nor the quality of his life, and he requires no special medical care for this. He has been determined to be generally healthy by our vet, and his adopter will get his medical records.
There is a simple adoption process and an adoption donation so we can continue to help other cats in need.
Cats typically live from 12 to 20 years, and they deserve a commitment for the entirety of those lives.
