amateur filmmaker seeks new members for new filmmakers group (Northwest Arkansas)
Hello! I am an amateur filmmaker near Springdale (also new to Arkansas) and I am looking to start an amateur filmmakers group called NWA Amateur Filmmakers.
I am seeking out people who enjoy making short films and want to have a community they can reach out to for help instead of asking family or strangers.
I have searched for reputable film groups in NWA but haven't come across any that seem active, and the bigger communities are all in Central Arkansas.
I'm here to see if there's anyone else who wants to start a filmmaker's community where we can pool ideas and resources for filmmaking - for example, if there's someone who needs a mic operator, a director, or help on a script, or need certain equipment loaned to them, or even actors, one of us will be there to help out. Just because we like making movies, and want to learn more about the art (and fun) of filmmaking.
