Zoe is one of the sweetest and most loving dogs you could ever meet. This poor girl was adopted as a cute young puppy, then recently returned to the high-kill shelter in the most deplorable condition. She was severely dehydrated and starving, totally neglected, and weighed only 37 lbs. Zoe was going to be euthanized as the shelter considered her "unadoptable" as she did not look like a very pretty dog. This was because she was so skinny and had a skin condition that WAS easily treated, and an eye infection. The shelter was not even going to give Zoe a chance to be adopted, so we pulled her from the shelter before it was too late. We knew that given the chance, Zoe would become the gorgeous girl she was meant to be. We promised this sweet girl a better life, one in which she will be cherished and loved, and well taken care of. She was started on a high calorie diet and medication to help her heal and she has now blossomed into the most gorgeous girls.She is now ready to find her forever home. Zoe absolutely loves people and other dogs, and she is great with cats as well. She likes to put her head in your lap and be petted, and to snuggle at your feet and just cuddle.
