The Neuroendocrine Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking women for a research study with anorexia nervosa who are 18-45 years old and who do not take any hormones. We are studying the effects of body composition on bone density and energy use.

Participants receive physical examinations, nutritional analyses, hormonal evaluations, blood tests, and measurements of bone density and body composition.

The study includes a screening visit and 3 outpatient visits. Participants will receive up to $500 plus transportation reimbursement.
