An Au Pair is an international nanny that is 18-26 years old that comes over here from the US with the help of our Au pair agency and stays with a host family for a year on a J-1 Visa. They can provide up to 45 a week of childcare and light housekeeping for the kids, in exchange for room and board and a weekly stipend. The hours are flexible so you can set the hours and change them according to your needs.
Our Au pairs go through an extensive application process before coming here to the United States, including references, background checks, physician reports, interviews, and psychometric tests. They are also fluent in English. These young people are eager to learn about our culture and also share their culture and perhaps their language with your family! Most Au pairs can be to your home between 4-8 weeks, but we do have some Au pairs available immediately.
