Auditioning Real Martial Artists for Documentary Film
Aloha!
I'm looking for talented martial artists from all styles for interviews and to perform kata, patterns, or forms in my upcoming martial arts documentary feature film entitled WARRIOR ARTS-DEADLY DANCE . I would like to feature as many different types of martial arts as possible. The one unifying feature would be the katas patterns, or forms.
If you practice a martial art that thinks kata is a waste of time, I would like to interview you too... Controversial view points are good too!
No pay for this, but the film will be sent to film festivals and IMdb credit and finished DVD will be given to all who participate. Shooting will take place at scenic points around Oahu. Shoots will be coordinated for our mutual convenience. If interested, please contact me to set up initial audition/interview.
This is a no bullshit production. I'm not just spinning my wheels like many so called "filmmakers" on Craigslist. I always finish every project that I begin.
