Bass/Bassist/needed Funeral Doom Metal Heavy Atmospheric Psych Death
Seeking a bassist for the above mentioned alchemy of music. Prefer someone with good gear, a sense of how to incorporate pedals/effects when needed. Able to tour and work toward releasing albums of quality on cassette/cd/Vinyl. Able to Tour.
Music has elements of Doom, Funeral Doom, black metal, psych stoner sludge rock, angular riffs and some odd times signatures here and there. Atmospheric - ambient soundscapes / as well to be used live and on an album.
We are a drummer and guitarist/vox. We both have worthy gear and a practice space with a full PA.
A van for shows/touring. Extra bass amps and cabs on hand to make things more simple for a first jam (if preferred)
A bassist that can dial in a super solid low end sound heavy as well as clean. Able to use effects / overdrive / fuzz but not limited by and can play with a clean tone.
Guitar is tuned to C . In an alternate Tuning. Bass would work well simply in 'C' standard. Half of the material is in C, and the other half the low string is dropped to A#.
We have plenty of material and riffs but we expect things to take their own shape when a bassist steps in.
