Beautiful 3 yo female Maine Coon (spayed) in need of loving home (Roswell, GA) hide this posting unhide

QR Code Link to This Post Beautiful 3-year-old female Maine Coon is in need of a loving, peaceful home. I am rehoming her for an elderly individual who had to relocate to a personal care home and is no longer in a position to care for her. A very small rehoming fee may be required to ensure she is going to an appropriate home. (Fee amount very negotiable for the right home.) She will come with all of her belongings including toys, scratching post, a couple months supply of cat food, month supply of kitty liter, litter boxwe (including one top entry liter box), food dishes, clippers, pet carrier, etc...She is a very sweet, low-key kitty who is fully litter box-trained and does not scratch/claw furniture (she uses her scratching post regularly). She is a pretty large kitty and appears to be "slightly" obese (although I am not overly familar with Maine coons, and she may be a within a normal range for her breed). She has rarely been outside and she is a bit of a "scaredy cat" so she will need a home where she can remain indoors. She is up to date on her vaccinations, and she has been spayed. She is not accustomed to noisy/chaotic environments, and becomes very anxious, so she would not be an ideal pet for a home with small children or hyper/easily excitable animals.

Some things to consider: Like all Maine coons, she has a lot of long fur and needs to be brushed on a regular basis (once or twice a week) to prevent hairballs. While she does shed (particularly when she is stressed), I have found that brushing her on a fairly consistent basis cuts down tremendously on the amount of fur around the house. She also will need to have her claws clipped regularly (a brand new pair will be provided). Apart from her need for regular groomimg, she seems to be about as low-maintenance as you could expect from a kitty. If allergies weren't an issue in my home, I would love to keep her myself. Please feel free to email me with any additional questions. While I am prepared to rehome her immediately, I am not in a rush, and my #1 priority is to place her in a home where she will be well loved, cared for, and most comfortable in. If you think you might be a good fit, email or text me to discuss. (I work in a hospital setting so Im often unable to answer calls, please text) Thank you.
