The Caldwell Veterans Council (CVC) is working to restore the 102 year old Carnegie Library building to create a veterans service center. The CVC, in conjunction with a number of veterans and community organizations need donations of time and money to complete the project.
The most pressing need at this time is the preservation of the building's foundation. The foundation must be coated with approximately 1400 square feet of an asphalt type of material. Arrangements have been made to excavate the soil near the foundation, but someone to coat the foundation is needed to complete the job.
