I'm a professional tutor with years of experience! I specialize in tutoring students of all ages. I'm finishing an advanced graduate degree, focusing in Business & Mathematics. I have also completed an extensive background check per state requirements as a higher secondary (6th-12th grade) teacher. I'm graduating Cum Laude with a 4.0 G.P.A. in the honor society at my university. My areas of expertise include: English, Social Studies, Science, History, Biology, Geography, and "all business courses." Extensive experience with the GMAT/ACT/SAT/GED /ACCUPLACER/ALL ENTRANCE EXAMS. Math Focus: Basic math skills, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II/Trig & Geometry.
I was employed with a tutoring facility for years. I have a recommendation letter from the owner. I also have testimonials from adult students and parents. I earned a Bachelor of Science and two Associate degrees. I was nominated by my professors for outstanding academic achievement. I was a Calculus tutor on campus. I explain tough concepts in a friendly manner. I teach helpful study skills, and share online resources, which are imperative to be a successful student.
I offer flexible hours during the week. I tutor in the: Denver Tech Center, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Littleton, and Meridian areas. I tutor at local libraries and Starbucks. I require a public location with dependable Wi-Fi to access my tutorials and formula sheets. Any teacher feedback, current work assignments, history pertaining to IEP's, ILP's, or learning disabilities & concerns are extremely helpful. I require reliable parent/gaurdian contact information. The first session will include an information form & letter of reference (testimonials upon request).
Payment/Cancellation Policy:
(1 hour session/standard session) $30 dollars
("3" 1-hour sessions "pre-paid") $75 dollars/or $25 per session ($15 dollar savings!)
("6" 1-hour sessions "pre-paid") $150 dollars/or $25 per session ($30 dollar savings!)
*Only local bank checks or cash accepted. Receipt will be given for all transactions. Payment is due before the session begins!
*Same day cancellations "early" in the morning will be excused only for extreme illness, inclement weather, or family emergencies. One week's notice is required for all planned absences.
*Failure to attend a scheduled session will result in the full cost of the session charged back to the parent or adult student. Failure to confirm for sessions or communicate, will result in a release from the schedule. Open slots on the schedule will be offered to those waiting for tutoring services.
This is a great price in comparison to tutoring companies, or expensive private tutors with less experience. I customize the sessions to fit your students' needs. Often, a student is working at a table with three other students in a tutoring lab. My students work one-on-one with a familiar face. I develop practice tests, study guides, explain subject material, and I track the progress of my students. I provide helpful chapter notes that students can study from before exams. I provide parents with text updates. I ask that all students bring their text-books/notes to every session!
