Salutations!
My name is Amanda from Le Royale Tutoring and Music Services. I am a California State University San Marcos graduate now offering lessons to those in the Portland metro area seeking help in K-8th grade related studies such as, but not limited to: language arts, social studies, history, chemistry, algebra and advanced Spanish. I also am offering piano lessons for the beginner up to the early advanced levels.
A bit more about myself, I began a career in music education about 3+ years ago for the San Francisco Unified School District under the guidance of an afterschool program called Keyboard Educators (keyboardeducators.com/Keyboard_Educators/Home.html). Since then, I have learned how to apply an effective teaching strategy to a multitude of academic subjects.
Teaching and coaching are two of my specialties. I greatly enjoy implementing my craft of strong bilingual communication skills to help enhance and advance the development of growth in those who are currently actively seeking assistance in their pursuit of knowledge with easy-to-understand explanation as a means to achieve academic success.
