CAD DesignerDrafterArchitect Student or Recent Grad (boise)

We are excited to announce that we are looking for an experienced and self-motivated CAD Designer/Drafter/Architect student or recent grad to aid our team in developing engineered drawings for tentative improvements to our fourth medical facility here in the Treasure Valley.
This is a great opportunity for young designers/architects trying to get their foot in the door. You will be working on real projects and be able to see your designs come to life!

PRIMARY DUTIES:

*Designing floor plans, electric, plumbing and working on interior design such as cabinetry and finishes.
*Developing creative solutions for a the interior of a medical facility
*Creating and implementing creative interior design solutions
*Executing the designed scope and facilitating approvals with the team
*Communicating between consultants such as architects, engineers, interior lighting consultants, construction personnel and/or companies, subcontractors, and other consultants when needed in order to find design solutions and answer questions in terms of design.
*Capable of finding solutions quickly to unforeseen issues both on and off the work field.
*Critiquing design solutions to start a dialogue among designers asking the never-ending question of "can we do better?" Continuously improving the overall standards of design quality.
*Assist in developing construction design documents for field use as well as coordinating solutions to design build issues.
*Experienced at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
*Capable of shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
*Able to react efficiently to adjustments and alterations promptly.
*Flexible during time of change - capable of doing multiple jobs at once and performing at a consistent level to meet expectations.
*Very much a team player - at the end of the day, a house cannot be designed/ executed by one single player.
*Strong work ethic and a commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards with the ability to read and adapt to communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

JOB DETAILS:

Project length approximately 1-2 Weeks, Pay $/Square Foot TBD

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant must be a senior at an accredited school and/or recent graduate.
Must be able to fully commit to project for minimum of 1 to 2 weeks.
