Johati Gallery, one of the Capitol Region's most exciting new galleries in the Lark Street neighborhood of Albany, New York, is seeking works of art addressing the theme of change, rebirth, and renewal for our Solstice show. Selected pieces will be featured at Johati during the weekend of June 19th through the 21st.

Application Fee: $55 ($90 for late entries)
Entry Requirements:
Artist needs to submit an application/proposal, an application fee of $55, and up to 3 images of their work per application in jpeg format. You may submit the photos via US mail on a CD, or you may email the images to Johati at the address provided above. All applications, images, and entry fees must be received by Johati by no later than May 1, 2015 and must be accompanied by a valid email address. (Entries received after May 1 will be subject to a $90 application fee, and will only be accepted until May 10.) Applications may be sent via email or postal service, and payment may be made via check or money order to Johati Gallery at 385 Madison Avenue, Albany NY 12210 or if you prefer to complete the registration process by email we can send you a link to pay with PayPal. Selected applicants will be notified via email by May 15th. Artists will be responsible for shipment of their own work, and all pieces must arrive ready to hang. (Pieces on canvas are not required to have frames, although they can be framed if the artist prefers. Pieces on paper or otherwise fragile should be framed with glass.)
Artists who would like their piece returned after the show must provide carton, label, and postage. Johati will not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to the piece, though we will take every reasonable precaution to safeguard the work once it arrives in our gallery.
