About me: I'm a Chinese-American guitarist and singer currently building a home project studio for composing and recording. I just moved back to the United States after having lived in Beijing for the last four years. (Check my band out at zhilaohu-thepapertigers.bandcamp.com. I produced and engineered the EP.)
During that time in Beijing, I got really used to seeing a ton of righteous bands with musicians that looked just like me.
Now that I'm back home, I'm thinking, Let's get out there so we don't need to keep pointing at James Iha.
Who's with me?! Singers, instrumentalists: Get in touch. Let's build a community. And maybe a band (or bands -- plural -- even)? If you're into the DIY punk thing, so much the better!
