Cans see at night (Seattle)

Do you have trouble driving because of glare, halos, or starbursts? Do you have difficulty seeing grey objects against a dark background? Specialty Eyecare in Seattle is conducting a research project on vision in dim light, sponsored by Ocularis Pharma, and we'd like your help. Many people have good daytime vision, but don't see as well at night. For example, headlight glare is a problem, or they can't see signs, cars, or people when it's getting dark. Pictures of night vision problems can be found at ocularispharma.com under the Market heading.

The research project involves a short questionnaire about your vision, and three tests. These tests are routine eye tests approved by the Food and Drug Administration. They do not involve dilation of your pupils - no medications or eye drops are required for this study. The first test measures the size of your pupils. The second test measures the optical characteristics of your eye. The third test measures your ability to see light gray circles on a white background. All three tests are conducted in a darkened room.

These eye exams involve no risk. The total study visit will take about an hour, if you're a candidate and elect to be a part of the study. If you complete the study you will be paid $100.

Thank you for your time. We look forward to hearing from.
