Aloha, I'm looking for a clean, updated reasonably priced place to stay while I search for work options and to decide if my journey will continue on Maui. Not Cheap, just not resort prices. Someone with a spare room or going on vacation and want to have your home cared for, watched over while you are away.
My story.
From Oregon originally, I moved to Maui in the late 70's when I was a young teenager. I lived on Maui for 7 yrs. I married the executive sous chef of the Hyatt and transferred to the mainland with him. Since, raised 3 wonderful children and divorced for over 20+ years and ready to continue my journey...back on Maui. Once a Kama'āina....Maui has always been in my heart.
I want to visit shortly after Christmas 2015 into January, maybe up till the 15th...little unsure of dates and I am a bit flexible. Hoping to find a place to stay as you are on vacation...or to rent a room in a house. If sharing space, looking for 35 + in age.. I am a youthful 55 year old. quiet place, no parties. I am a very social person but where I live I prefer my privacy, and peace. Presently a FT nanny, so extremely honest, trustworthy, mature, responsible, clean...respectful of other people's property. Treat your place as my own. Rent for 2-3 weeks or so. around $1000 able to pay. I am unable to pay resort prices for this long of a stay. (my boyfriend may visit for a short time. He is a senior manager for Panasonic corporation out of Chicago. He may lay over for a few days if he's traveling to China during that time. ( Chicago is where I live) But I will stay on . This is my goal and hope I can make this work by not staying at the resorts. I was there 2 years ago with my kids staying at the Whalers village and Wailea Marriot...very nice but would like to live more locally. And more affordable.Mahalo!!
