CASTING NOTICE FOR CHILD ACTORS:
GUTHRIE (5-7) is a young girl who has retained her childhood innocence despite the tragedy that has infected her household. After her father's death, Guthrie's relationship with her mother, JEANETTE, is fraught with tension. This film explores the strength of the bond between mother and daughter in the absence of a father figure, as well as the theme of parental negligence. Although Guthrie is young, she is beginning to understand the inner workings of her mother. Actor must be willing to participate in a film that addresses complicated and challenging topics.
