Experienced Caregivers Wanted
Our CBRF group home is in need of mature, friendly caregivers. We ask that you have all 6 blocks of the State's CBRF certifications to be considered for a position.
The caregiver assists residents with ADL's (i.e. personal hygiene, eating, dressing).
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1) Assist residents with all ADLs including, getting them dressed in weather appropriate clothing, toileting, showering, personal hygiene requirements, and mobility. 2) Maintain resident confidentiality. 3) Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service educational programs. 4) Communicate observed changes in resident conditions to Registered Nurses, Administration, and other caregivers through verbal and written documentation. 5) Prepare meals following the menu. 6) Perform housekeeping tasks and laundry. 7) Help plan and carryout activities for the residents. 8) Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Must be CBRF Certified 2) Must have the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, family, and staff in a variety of areas. 3)Must have the ability to work with a variety of residents in varying degrees of disease process. 4) Must be able to work efficiently both as a team member and individually. 5) Must possess good communication skills. 6) Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. 7) Must be flexible and willing to work odd shifts and cover staffing needs. 8) Must have reliable transportation and childcare.
You must have ALL of the State mandated certs.
Block 1 Residents Rights, Dealing With Difficult Behaviors, ISP's, and Client Group Specific
Block 2 Standard Precautions/OSHA
Block 3 Medications
Block 4 Dietary and Menu Planning
Block 5 First Aide and Choking
Block 6 Fire Safety
WE DO NOT PROVIDE OR PAY FOR TRAINING.
You must be available to work every other weekend.
