Happy Go Lucky Childcare is a Certified Home Childcare. Currently we have full time and part time openings available for any age. DHS is happily accepted. I'm located in the David Douglas School District. The closest school to my home is Gilbert Heights Elementary and there is a bus stop on our street.

My curriculum is play-based and focuses on preparing your child for kindergarten, with appropriate modifications for younger children. They will be learning the alphabet, numbers, colors, days of the week, months of the year, basic math skills, recognizing & writing their name, as well as many other skills, all through play. Each day will feature circle time, arts & crafts activities, participating in group activities, large & small motor skills, story time and many other educational activities. My home is full of various toys for all ages and features a fully fenced yard where we will play daily, weather permitting. I will also take the children on multiple field trips each month to places like the Oregon Zoo, Portland Children's Museum, local farms, our local library for story time, the park and many other places. I have a very nice 7 passenger mini van to transport them with. Experiencing the world first hand is an essential component to learning and the children look forward to each of our outings!
