A Place To Grow Childcare ~~ Affordable Child Care from a Child Development Teacher
I am offering quality childcare in a warm, safe, loving environment. I have over 60 credit hours in early childhood education. My 17 plus years experience is with all ages, from infant/toddler to school age, including special needs. I have worked in both elementary ed (special education) and in a traditional childcare center. I decided that I wanted to go in a different direction, one that would allow me to still work with children, which I love and stay home with my daughter. Almost three and a half years later, my daughter has since gone on to school and I am still caring for my original children. I have one immediate opening and in the fall, four of my original childcare kids will be heading off to kindergarten. So, I will have more openings throughout the summer. Because I believe in small group sizes, I never have more than six children.
I live in Skokie, have a large, fenced in back yard, a park across the street and this is a non smoking/pet free home. I don't believe in letting children sit around and watch t.v. all day. I will provide the full childcare experience that includes predictable routines and schedules, age appropriate curriculum, art, circle, music, science, ect. I have educational games and toys and will provide nutritious snacks and meals. I provide the full Preschool Experience, not just babysitting!
My background includes Creative Curriculum, West Ed and Zero to Three. My rates are very reasonable, which is far less than you would pay in a childcare center. Plus, I am flexible with work schedules, if need be. Looking to fill these rare spots and I am offering tuition incentives. If you would like to schedule an interview please contact me.
