Hey all. I just moved back to the area and looking for a few people who want to have a beer and play some music. Not looking for crazy-serious musicians or 3-chord amateurs. Somewhere in the middle is perfect.

I'm 26 and working the 9-5 gig up in Troy, but will be living in Madison Heights in a couple of weeks. I'm a halfway decent guitarist - mostly acoustic with a splash of electric - and I play a bit of bass. Also dabble on the dobro and harmonica from time to time. I've been playing a lot of acoustic solo stuff recently, but I have band and performance experience. Last band I was in kinda migrated from indie to metal/hard rock in the period of a year and a half. Crazy story, but that fourth member is always a wild card you know.

You? Just want to have fun, play music, and maybe do a few open mics now and then. I'm not saying we're never going to be rockstars, because c'mon, if you're reading my ad you already are (obviously). But having fun and making some friends along the way is key. If you're a similar minded, hopefully similar aged guy or girl, shoot me an email or a text. Instrument and style is open, though I personally would prefer staying away from the really hard stuff.
