My name is Anna, a 30 year old well-educated professional looking for a short-term (3 months or so) room for rent. Looking for something on the west side of town (Arvada/Wheat Ridge/Lakewood/Golden/Evergreen), and hoping to move within the next week or two.
I am a Colorado native, but have been traveling extensively for work, and will be in Colorado for a few months while I wait for my next location. I am incredibly easy going, very quiet, and can usually be found in my room in my sweats watching Netflix. I don't smoke, haven't had a drink in years, and I don't partake in 420. In my spare time I like to play soccer, go running, and wander through Barnes and Noble.
I have a dog, a small terrier mix (think Jack Russel), who is low-shed, very well behaved (he is a trained and registered service dog), and will usually come with me when I leave the house. Even though he is small, he is certainly not a yippie ankle-biter type (honestly, those dogs are embarrassing).
I recently turned 30, I am single, and am not likely to have friends over (definitely not a partier -- I feel old just thinking about it). That said, I am very clean, don't use up much refrigerator space, and am a master at laundry (if you get me on a free day, I can usually be talked into helping wash and fold).
I am looking for a private room, private bathroom highly preferred, and will not need a lot of storage space, just a place to park my car. Bedroom furniture is greatly appreciated, but not a deal breaker. I am looking to pay $500-$600/month, up to $675 if needed. Also available to help with cleaning or child care/homework help for lower rent (I have been an ACT/SAT prep tutor for 5 years). That said, paying rent will never be a problem, and I have no problem submitting to a background check (no criminal history, evictions, etc.).
