Let me begin by saying this is still in its collaborative/concept stage. I like the idea and the setting, but as far as an over arching idea as to where the story is going and how the character will arc, I only possess rough ideas. Partly due to the research needed for the foreign setting while I write.
I would like to work issue to issue. I have worked with some local/grassroots comic book developers before and to me they all seemed to feel like, to quote Bilbo Baggins, "butter scraped over too much bread".
I am looking for someone who is able to do concept art. I cannot stress this point enough. If you can only do final draft artwork, and find drawing a "chore", or something you'd rather not be doing, I'm afraid we most likely won't last for long.
That being said, I am looking for a partner, and not an "employee". Any and all ideas are welcome.
If the artist has knowledge and experience with South America that is just an added bonus.
Let's work slow and steady and get a product out there that we can drum up excitement for, and be proud of. But, I suppose a cliche, have fun too.
