This course is an introduction to handgun shooting that addresses the specific laws and the unique responsibilities that govern the use of non-lethal and deadly force in the states of Kentucky and Ohio. It also covers shooting fundamentals, owning, operating and maintaining a firearm. The class is six hours of classroom and two hours of range time. Participants will receive one-on-one instruction as well as valuable group discussion and, after successful completion of the course, will have training needed to apply for CCW licenses in Ohio and Kentucky.
